According to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s information, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia has not yet received a report from Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan on the participation of teachers and students from several schools of various communities of Aragatsotn Province in the ruling Civil Contract party’s election campaign in Aparan city Wednesday.
The minister on Wednesday had written that her ministry would conduct a separate investigation into the registered cases of several schools' participation in the aforesaid election campaign in Aragatsotn Province to find out the circumstances and apply the consequences prescribed by law.
Also, she had recalled that the reports received before that had also been processed, and they had been sent to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
In response to a request from Armenian News-NEWS.am in this regard, the Prosecutor General's Office had informed that they had received three reports from Minister Andreasyan on the registered cases of schools' participation in the election campaign. They had noted that these reports had been processed in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law.
As per Armenian News-NEWS.am’s information, these reports are about the incidents that were recorded in Syunik and Vayots Dzor Provinces, and capital city Yerevan.
