In Astana, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were presented with a number of joint investment projects between the two countries, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Tokayev’s press service.
Factories, a logistics center, and a mining and processing plant are planned to be built in various regions of the country, which will make it possible to create more than 3,100 jobs.
In particular, in the Abai Region, Miryıldız intends to build a mining and processing plant. In Almaty, İskefe Holding plans to launch gelatin production.
In the Turkistan Region, Orzax Group is establishing a modern production facility for dietary supplements, while in Aktobe, S Sistem Lojistik, together with Kazpost JSC, is creating a logistics center on the territory of the international airport. In Astana, Tiryaki Holding will build a plant for the deep processing of wheat and peas.
According to official data, work is currently ongoing on another 50 joint projects with a total value of about $4 billion. This reflects the high level of investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
Today, May 14, in Astana, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held the sixth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
