Former Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan, who is the chairman and prime ministerial candidate of the Wings of Unity party in the parliamentary election on June 7, has appealed to mothers in the country who have been raising children at home for years, are not working, and are excluded from the labor register of Armenia.

Tatoyan emphasized in his message that the years of raising, educating, and supporting a child should not be ignored by the Armenian state.

“Your years of suffering, raising, and educating a child should not be wasted. All those years should be counted as seniority, recorded in the work book, and later taken into account when applying for a job, receiving a higher salary, forming a pension and other social rights. The [Armenian] state is obligated to do everything to ensure that there is justice for you. Please trust me. All of this will be fully implemented through the sixth [number on the] ballot," said the Wings of Unity Party PM candidate.
