We will return the image of [Mount] Ararat to the passports of Armenian citizens. The second president of Armenia and the candidate for prime minister from the "Hayastan [(Armenia)]" bloc, Robert Kocharyan, announced this during a parliamentary election campaign meeting with the residents of Vayk town.

When asked why the Armenian authorities have removed the image of Mount Ararat from the customs stamps of Armenia, Kocharyan noted that if the authorities acted fairly, they would start from the name of the foreign minister, Ararat Mirzoyan.

"We [i.e. the ‘Hayastan’ bloc] will return everything. It will cost a certain amount of money, but I believe there will be benefactors, including from the [Armenian] diaspora, who will help return [Mount] Ararat to our passports," the politician noted.
