The US and Iran have reached 95% agreement on a framework deal, but negotiators are still discussing the wording on issues related to Tehran's nuclear arsenal and control of the Strait of Hormuz, official sources said, Fox News reports.

They are not going to give up, they have not reached an agreement yet, and they are not going to sign an agreement today or tomorrow, a US administration official said.

The source clarified that an agreement has been reached on the Iranian nuclear arsenal and the Strait of Hormuz, but the details of the wording are being discussed.

The source added that the US administration sees an opportunity to conclude a deal that would reduce Washington's costs while preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. If an agreement cannot be reached, US representatives reserve the right to resume military operations.
