The agreement between Iran and the US stipulates that Tehran will reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days of the signing of the deal, sources say, reports The Washington Post.
According to the latest proposal, signed by a diplomat, Iran shall immediately reopen the Strait of Hormuz and take steps to return shipping to pre-war levels within 30 days.
It is also assumed that Iran, the US, and their allies shall declare an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
The Washington Post noted that the proposal includes confirmation that Iran will abandon the development of nuclear weapons and an agreement to destroy its nuclear stockpiles in a coordinated manner.
