US immigration law mandates medical examinations for all immigrant visa applicants to protect public health and ensure compliance with the Immigration and Nationality Act, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the US Embassy in Armenia.

“The examination identifies communicable conditions of public health significance, helping prevent their spread into the United States. It confirms that applicants have received required vaccinations, protecting both the applicant and the broader U.S. population,” the embassy added.
