Crude oil prices were mixed on Tuesday morning. Brent oil is rising on reports of new strikes on Iran, while the WTI oil, which was closed on Monday for a holiday in the US, is reacting to reports of continued US-Iran peace talks.
Brent crude futures for July delivery rose $2.68, or 2.79%, to $98.82 a barrel on the ICE Futures stock exchange in London. Brent had fallen $7.40, or 7.1%, to $96.14 a barrel on Monday.
WTI crude oil futures for July delivery fell $4.23, or 4.38%, to $92.37 a barrel in online trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). They had risen $0.25, or 0.26%, to $96.60 a barrel on Friday.
