Modern motorcycles have become so specialized and extreme that simply finding one good bike to do everything well now is harder than ever. Some bikes are built almost entirely around outright speed, while others pile on tech, size, and complexity in pursuit of being the ultimate touring or adventure machine. But for a lot of riders, the ideal motorcycle isn’t necessarily the fastest or most expensive one.
